It can also greatly help or eradicate specific issues such as sciatica, whiplash, RSI, fibromyalgia, tennis and golfers elbow, arthritis, migraines, frozen shoulder, plantar fasciitis, sprained ankle, sporting overuse injuries… the list goes on.

My Approach

I aim to create a safe, comfortable space that allows you to relax and enjoy your massage.

I use a fusion of Eastern and Western massage techniques which results in a flowing massage to bring you relief and positive outcomes as quickly as possible. During the winter, I sometimes pop on the hot stone heater and use my hot stones as an efficient way to melt pain away from sore muscles; it’s also a gorgeous addition to the massage.

Before the first massage we will have a full consultation (by telephone or video call) to understand your goals for the session and devise the best treatment plan for you.

My aim is to help reduce your pain, improve your range of movement and help you get back to doing the things that matter to you.

If you have had surgery, we can work on, around or far away from that area depending on your requirements. Some surgery scars can be greatly helped with gentle treatment to soften them and help them to become less rigid, if that is required. Recent surgery sites may need time to settle and we can easily work on other areas of the body.

Kinesiology taping might be required to help manage the condition which I can apply at the end of the massage.

After the massage I often give one or two simple stretches or movements for you to do at home to continue the good work that we have achieved during the session. This simple ‘rehab homework’ isn’t essential, but can really help to ease your condition and accelerate your recovery; it also gives you some control over your condition and helps you to manage your pain.

Some conditions cannot be solved in only one session - a series of massages might be required to make a positive and lasting difference.
